01/27/2011 03:24 P (EST)
CHICAGO, Jan. 27 (UPI) -- Grain futures were mixed on the Chicago Board of Trade Thursday as traders considered weekly export figures and a dollar index that dropped 0.25 percent..

Corn was off 6 3/4 to off 7, soybeans were up 10 1/4 to up 14, wheat was off 4 3/4 to off 10 1/4 and oats were up 3/4 to up 2.

Corn futures dropped modestly on weak export sales data with 414,700 metric tons exported in the week. Export sales for wheat came in at 894,100 metric tons, but prices fell as concern over winter damage to planted crops is fading. Weekly crush figures for soybean were higher than expected at more than 153 million metric tons, which helped boost soybean prices.
